The difference is that HQ/HD won't be available, and comments and other "fluff stuff" are limited or removed.

Wow, now if they'd combine the concepts, keeping the HQ video but getting rid of the comments, YouTube would be perfect. There is no demographic on the Earth dumber than YouTube commenters.

Ask one side about the other on the FR threads debating:

LDS/Others
Evos/Creationists
Reluctantly Vote for McCain'ers/Never Ever Ever Vote McCain
Mary Anns/Gingers

and so on

YouTube is toying with the idea of paid subscriptions, too. I am all in favor of FREE & paid for subscriptions. I want control.

I want to be able to delete/block those comments AND the commenters. I want to be able to save my Favorites list, and organize it and sort it. I want No Ads on my videos. I want to be able to keep receiving comment notifications on my comments, but I want to be able to click on THAT specific comment, and be taken to THAT specific comment, not have to sort through hundreds of comments to find that one 14 year old idiot who dissed my comments! LOL

I have suggested they offer the basic FREE service, with ads, no comments, no “fluff”, no HD/HQ as the entry level offering. Then, I’d like to see two other plans, one for having it all, and one for ala carte folks, like me.
