My wife was listening to Glenn Becks radio program, this morning. She informs me that Glenn Beck says that the White House called his red phone yesterday at the end of his FOX News TV show.
Evidently, the White House was upset that Glenn Beck interviewed Michael Goldfarb, author of the Offutt AFB closure threat report. In the interview, Goldfarb stood by his report. Glenn Beck, prefacing the story as a rumor, also stated that he confirmed this story with three sources. But, the White House vociferously denies the story.
Olbermann may apply it to Beck, but he doesn’t have the balls to tell you that the exact same thing applies to him. For example, if President Bush did something that Olberfuhrer loved and thought was a great idea, he wouldn’t be able to say it. It’s not a smear per se, it’s just the way they’ve pigeonholed themselves, all in the name of a paycheck. I don’t blame them, but the reality is I have to take what they say with more than a grain of salt. So should you. Be a skeptic, and endless skeptic, because everyone is selling something my friend. Even Beck.
obozo is a front man and without a teleprompter has no idea what day it is.
Beck got a call from Rahm.
You're asking us to do the very same thing and trust you, whom we know a lot less about than Beck.
It comes down to who we believe most, you or Beck...and you lose on that one.
Okay, that’s fine. Like I said, we’ll see soon enough if I’m wrong. But just remember - if the proof never materializes, the call was never made.
If it’s a prop, then let it be a prop, let everyone know it’s a prop. Is this politics or drama class?
But, it's also a red telephone.
About Rush: years ago, I decided to watch Rush. At the time he came on TV at 6 am in Dallas. He kept playing this stupid clip of women who wanted to be firefighters and laughing at it. I'm sure there are some men out there who want to be firefighters who couldn't handle the hose either, but Rush chose to play the clip of women and laugh, pointedly referring to them as women firefighters. It was the first and last time I watched him. Women are people too, you know.
Nothing this Administration does should shock you. And we DO have a track record.
I see the probability...based on past facts.
You apparently totally dismiss the probability.
Fair enough.
Just don't call the FReepers that think it's certainly possible nuts.
Okay?
Not surprising, but then, why? Why should you trust Beck over me? You know the two of us equally well, aren’t we equally trustworthy? I know I’m uglier and poorer but that should reflect on my credibility.
bttt
So, on that logic, if proof doesn’t ‘materialize’ that God exists, than do you believe He doesn’t exist?
Yep!!

Why did Beck's wife leave?
Without context...I'd have a hard time figuring out what went on with Rush and the clip of women firefighters.
I would suspect it had something to do with the Dept. HAVING to accept all candidates...especially minorities and WOMEN...no matter if they could physically handle it.
I'd bet you the women embarrassed themselves...and Rush laughed at it...and so did the audience. I probably would have too.
Yes, I know some women...and they most certainly ARE people.
Proof has materialized for me when I accepted Jesus and felt God’s presence. I couldn’t prove it to anyone else, I would think, or else I’d be the greatest evangelist since Peter himself. Beck, however, can produce a phone record. But he won’t.
I think it is “nuts” to not be skeptical on all sides. I’m not trying to be rude, I’m just trying to slap a few people awake. In an army, you can trust the guy next to you because if you die, he dies. Beck, Rush, Hannity, none of these guys share any sort of dependence on you, other than to make a living. Do not implicitly trust these guys - you don’t know for sure they’re on your side.
Comparing Beck to Michael Moore? Aside from being insulting, it’s a terrible metaphor.
Do you even watch Beck or are you just here to criticize those who do?
Or worse yet, are you just not paying attention to what is actually happening in the world today? Saying Beck is not speaking truth or informative, leads me to believe the latter.
And you know this HOW???
Have another glass of Kool Aid and change the station to something more in line with your liking: Herr Doberman or "Tingles" Mathews!!!
There is such a thing as a wannabe or an overachiever that cannot really achieve. I believe it’s called THE PETER PRINCIPLE. People rise to their highest level of incompetence. That sure describes most politicians.
But listen..those folks you listed and others that you didn't....ARE speaking things I believe.
I'm not drinking their KoolAid....but I do listen. And I do KNOW what the WH is capable of. I've seen it....I continue to see it.
My point was.....you "really" don't know...if Beck got a communication from the WH. But you acted like it was just a scam. And you nor I can prove it. But it is not outside of the M.O. of the WH.......
And that was my point.
