I always like articles like this, but...they seem always to leave a question hanging. In this case, can taking vitamin E orally help shrink tumors?

Hmmm. Don't know the answer to oral vitamin E. I rather doubt it since they specify an extract (a "intravenous administration of tocotrienol, entrapped in a tumour-targeted delivery system"). I used to work at a medical research facility. Most researchers are eager to discuss their pet projects and will answer via email. For the other writers on FreeRepublic who automatically slam the research and the poster, I would suggest they debate it with the researchers at the University of Strathclyde (Scotland). Strathclyde was founded in 1796. I'm always astounded that we (in the USA) automatically discount someone else's research if they aren't American. Really, it's just a line of inquiry -- no better, no worse than anyone else's. Researchers are human and approachable (most of the time, lol).
