I hate commenting on the speculative gossip but in this instance why would she deserve half?

I feel badly for the kids. Tiger’s lost my support. But that doesn’t mean I’m suddenly sympathetic to a former nanny who had the opportunity to marry a rich man and took it. How do I know if her reasons for doing so were moral or whether they were cynical.

Some money to live comfrtably which in their world may number in millions. Money for the children. Not half of his estate though. She didn’t do a thing to earn half.

Now I wish they’d just stop these stories because I’m sick of hearing about it. I could have gone a lifetime without hearing all the sordid details that have come to light.

Wait a minute. It's not like she was a nanny without opportunity. She comes from a well-to-do family herself. Her dad is successful, and her mother is a well-known politician in Sweden. She, and her sister, were acting as nannies during their "gap year" - a year many Europeans take-off between high school and college.

She was going to, and might have, attend college and make a career as a child psychologist. She spurned Tiger for some time before finally relenting to go out with him. And, that was only after her "boss", Jesper Parnevik, intervened on Tiger's behalf and suggested that she should go out with him. Parnevik explained just last week that this is the reason he said he was so disappointed in Woods - because he personally vouched for his character.
