Genesis did rock in the Gabriel years, take a listen to "The Knife."
I always looked at my favorite Genesis songs as “rock meet’s classical”.
I love “Supper’s Ready”.
I don’t get the Phil Collins bashing on this thread? Abacab? Mama? Genesis?
How about these songs...NOT ROCK? Give me a break. They were huge songs for them.

That’s just songs with the post-Gabriel era not including the stuff with Phil and Peter. Those were HUGE hits and are in many cases VERY rocking songs. We haven’t even touched Phil’s solo stuff. The guy has like 40 hits combined with Genesis.
