This is about the most interesting quote of the week. Censorship at the top levels of network television, with employees afraid of losing their jobs if they speak their mind or tell what they know. This is the story that should be blared in headlines. I hope someone from Beck’s or Sean’s office hears about this. Seriously, this is a big story, and I’ll suggest it for breaking news.

The CBS gag order probably has more to do with bad mouthing a member of Augusta National.

Tiger’s getting close to completing a full 18 and probably even has a stop at the 19th hole too!

Ah yes, our heroes in the press. Those staunch defenders of the First Amendment. Hey never mind if “access” is denied by USA Royalty, including celebs, or if you “offend” any childishly sensitive PC group.
It’s not about jobs, profits, advertisers . . . it’s all about “the people’s right to know.”
I’m so glad they’re on our side.

I hesitated to post another Tiger tale, but I agree with you that this quote speaks volumes about MSM censorship.
SeeBS, fake but accurate.

Should this be true, it is a story itself. I enjoyed watching Tiger. He was the only reason I would watch golf. I also read about that Dr. he was seeing. Do not know if I will watch anymore (should he ever play again)

He’ll play again. With his ego I suspect what he’ll do is skip the Masters as his punishment, and then come back. But back to this censorship story, do all sports reporters on the major networks and on ESPN live in this kind of fear of reporting what they know? It’s like Soviet Russia. Or the new and improved Russia.

Does not surprise me, but it stinks - they know what side their bread is buttered on, and Tiger not playing sucks big bucks out of viewership.
Glad TMZ and Radar cover this stuff - if people don’t want to read it, they don’t have to. You can bet they’re digging into the doping issue.

Well, if it had been state secrets that could have endangered thousands of lives and the safety of our country, they’d have published it in a heartbeat. Ah, the priorities among the media...

It would be interesting if he got fired for mentioning Tiger in a statement telling the press that he would be fired for mentioning Tiger.

simple policy to implement, just take the memos they had already printed out for the News Division, cross out “Obama” and write in “Tiger”...

Well there are no more left wing liberals than those in the Sports media and he was a big hero to them when he hit the tour
The fact that they are not even attempting to defend Tiger tells you something about what they really think of him now after his years on the tour

Why should a golf announcer risk his job over some info about Woods?
