Yet there indeed are children out there who don't have proper role models, even their parents.

Absolutely true.

If Palin can fill this void for even a small percentage of them then it is worth it, in spades.

I would agree with that too, provisionally, but what does that
have to do with my objection to idol worship and the lionization
of Mrs. Palin's daughter? Am I missing something?

Regardless, I'd also agree Mrs. Palin would be an outstanding
role model but certainly NOT a quasi-deified solution to all of life's problems.

It just seems to get a bit deep sometimes.

To 41 - We're on the same page more oft than not.

And speaking of role models, you were lucky in having Eaker. Though the buzz is that Eaker can shoot better than you even if blindfolded with Rosie O'Donnell standing in between him and the target.

There's a world of difference between a "self-anointed savior (Obama), and a natural leader (Sarah).

Obama promises hope and chains with his I, I, I, me, me, me, ad nauseum.

Sarah encourages everyone who cares about the direction of this country to get involved with the electoral process at the local, state, and national levels, and encourages "ordinary" citizens to run for public office.

Big difference. Of course, RINOs and Democrats share the extremely debunked opinion that we should concede our freedoms and wealth to the whims of Ivy League retards.
