Every year I go over to Crescent City to see family and some days are cold and foggy even in the summer and fall but all I do is drive east about 20 minutes and I am in 80 degree sunshine and clear blue water(Smith River), and beautiful giant redwood trees. Nothing like it except where I live, Maui Hawaii. The best of two worlds.
