Tebow makes news with date to awards show

No one thinks he's a saint. But what Tebow IS is a throw back football player, one who puts team, God and others before himself. That's why he's remarkable, especially in the world we live in now (Tiger Woods). He could have asked any woman in the world to go with him to the awards last night. But instead, he made the wish of a very sick young lady come true.

Not something you see a lot of today.

Watch the video at the link. While she is attractive, it is also obvious that she suffers from some fairly severe physical difficulties due to her condition. Not at all what we are accustomed to seeing on the arm of a star athlete.

For those that haven’t read the article or watched the video Tebow’s date has brain cancer which has resulted in her having uncontrollable tremors. When she walks she takes very deliberate steps and shakes like a very bad case of Parkinsons.

She wanted to come to Disney just on the off-chance she could catch a glimpse of Tebow. The fact she is actually his date is something that was completely unexpected.

Sorry about your wife. A friend is going through the same thing right now but her cancer seems to be in remission. I hope this young lady doesn’t have it that bad either. So sad to see young people get cut short.
