I don’t know alot of one-hit wonders, but my all time favorite is “Brandy” by Looking Glass.....the bass is pure melody, and I never tire of listening to how cool and smooth it is.
What about a cheery song called “ Timothy” about three miners trapped and they eat the man in the above title.
Or “Shannon” about a dog who swims away and drowns.
Both 1970 hits...they dont write like that anymore, folks.
