I was reading a story in my local paper that said she's some kind of math genius. Apparently, she's actually been published and has a theorem or proof named after her.

She was on Beck’s tv show months ago...very bright woman.

No. That would be Danica McGellar (sp?). She is the author of “Math Doesn’t Suck” and another book devoted to clarifying math for middle schoolers.

Yes, that's correct. Her name is Danica McKellar.

As an undergraduate, she coauthored a scientific paper with Professor Lincoln Chayes and fellow student Brandy Winn. Their results are termed the 'Chayes-McKellar-Winn theorem'.
