All it took was one time backing up his car into a fire hydrant at an awkward time in the morning, and the whole can of worms burst open.

Tiger Woods did not 'back his car into a fire hydrant'. He was driving recklessly on a public road and struck multiple things including a fire hydrant until he struck a tree. Then stonewalled the police to prevent being interviewed.
