Well, I'm sure he's financially in a position to just plain retire now if he wants, and enjoy the rest of his life living in the lap of luxury.

Trying to play this season would turn the tour into a media circus. I agree, Tiger needs to take the year off if he wants to attempt to repair his now highly tarnished image. Not to mention if he wants to keep his wife and kids and have a family.
