The writer doesn’t make it clear whether his wife, in blaming the women, is targeting that blame to the mistresses, the wife, or both. It’s pretty common for the wife to get blamed, especially in macho dominated families. She didn’t pay him enough attention or she wasn’t good enough in bed or she was too busy with the children, etc.
I accept your position. I was giving mine based on experience and observation but, certainly both scenarios could happen.
Hopefully, this will all soon blow over and we won’t have to hear about it anymore. I have had my fun with it for 10+ days.
Then again, maybe the whole event is being blown out of proportion and they had some weird, kinky Whack-a-Mole thing they liked to do.
