You know... there is a typical time period for each of the products and I saw a website that kept up on that, telling you when the chances were for the next product upgrade.

I would have to find that, but..., I don't know that off the top of my head... :-)

Maybe someone else on the Apple ping list might know.

Historically, Apple has announced the next generation iPhone at the WorldWide Developer Conference. The next one is 6/8/2010 - 6/12/2010.

A new release of the iPhone/Touch firmware usually follows soon thereafter, which can be installed onto existing devices. The new iPhones typically go on sale 1-2 months later.
