Interesting assessment! I don't often listen to him, but happened to hear part of a late overnight repeat of his show, and it got my curiousity...

I would have thought that if they went out to dinner that someone somewhere would have tweeted about it, you know??

The way you depict him, he sounds a bit "nouveau intellectual," so to speadk, very insecure in himself if he needs to seek admiration from such silly cutural "icons" as Leary & Ginsberg, what a couple of pathetic people, hey?

I've never read any of his books, so I had no idea that he was interested in Jerry Brown???? Moonbeam And Savage - that would be a team, hey?

That's really interesting, though, what you're explaining about his core psychological motivation -- to be honored by the IN-Crowd.

LOLOLOL

It's kind of different, though, when a celebrity in his own right is so needy for whomever is currently high & mighty.

I wonder if he'd roll over and play Dem if Desiree Rogers sent him an invite to attend some function at the WH along with the Salahis? :)

I don’t listen to Doc Savage on a regular basis, but I really can’t recall ever hearing him saying anything good about Romney. Savage reluctanty endorsed McCain, if I remember correctly, and he doesn’t like Palin at all.
