Blatant hypocrisy but it proves how well established the left’s notion that racism is about power as much as race has become. I.e. it’s “okay” for blacks to oppose interracial marriage because such marriage steals away the solidarity and therefore the power of the disempowered black community.

Can you just imagine the reaction from AP if a white openly and unashamedly said that they would never vote for a white married to a black? What's sauce for the goose should be sauce for the gander, but it's not,because as you say, it's not about racial equality and hasn't been for a long long time, it's about power. As long as whites are still the majority, a way must be found to neutralise their numbers (and their yet-existing higher scores, etc), and white guilt has been perfect as their tool, along with accusations of "cultural bias" in testing and AA.
