Rap “music” is pure filth and promotes violence and encourages drug use, police killings, glorifies gangs, encourages people not report crimes to the authorities. It is a cancer and a blot on our culture. They even play this so called music at the gym where I work out. It sounds terrible like people are yelling and shouting at each other. I don’t get it all. I never have and never will.
Gone are the days of music (listening to Jean Micheal Jaree’s Oxygen as I type this), civil behavior, politeness in public ... and basic manners.
We are in a mad rush to the profane and obscene. American has be come course and tribal. No longer do we aspire to greatness in science art literature.
