The 666 of Notre Dame in 2009 (?)
12-2-2009 | Vanity

Posted on 12/03/2009 9:16:03 AM PST by topher

Notre Dame Football is 6-6 for the regular season.

For Notre Dame, this was a horrible football year -- compared to the history of Notre Dame Football. Very few years in Notre Dame football have there been 6 losses.

But there was another 6 for Notre Dame -- President Obama coming to the Notre Dame campus in May 2009.

Many Catholics opposed the President coming to Notre Dame because of his Culture of Death views on ABORTION.

The campus and South Bend, IN, was invaded by a number of pro-life groups, as well as trucks and airplanes displaying aborted babies.

Many Catholics will not support ND because of its support of the "Abortion President" -- the one who so strongly opposed the "Born Alive Protection Act" both as a legislator in Illinois, and even in the US Senate.

So this is the 666 of Notre Dame.

ND President Father Jenkins might be either the "beast" or dragon of this trio. Maybe Obama is the symbolic of the Anti-Christ.

For me, 666 represents 3 entities -- the Dragon, the Beast, and the Anti-Christ... These are found and described in a cryptic way in the very last book of the Bible for Christians...

Some of us Catholics take offense to how Father Jenkins has brought a Catholic University to its knees.

Perhaps the Very Poor Record of Notre Dame Football is an example of the bad fruit of the Notre Dame Leadership.

Maybe the football coach could have stayed. Maybe it is Father Jenkins that should have been fired...

Maybe the Notre Dame 88 might gain some comfort from this post.

For me, this is the year of 666 for Notre Dame...

Of course, I am having some fun at the expense of Notre Dame University

I don’t know if there is any significance to the 666 number for Notre Dame but I do take great pleasure knowing my UConn Huskies contributed to one of those digits. GO UCONN!!!!

"But there was another 6 for Notre Dame -- President Obama coming to the Notre Dame campus in May 2009."

Um...and what does this have to do with the number 6? May is the 5th month of the year...

Enough with the Obama-as-the-anti-Christ drivel already.

That was a bit of a stretch. Notre Dame’s football record (which was .500, the definition of mediocre) has nothing whatsoever to do with Biblical prophecy.

If it weren’t for an incompetent replay official in the Washington game, the 6-6 would be 5-7. I guess that would kind of foul up your analysis but it would have given the Huskies a chance to play for a bowl this weekend against Cal.

Once I almost hit an elk on a moped.

I have no idea where it learned to ride a moped.

Started listening to ND football on the radio in the 1940’s.Have not watched them since the Jenkins-Obama fiasco. With the support Jenkins gave to Obama,Obama can now sign a pro-abortion Death-Care bill.
