It is more than a little conceivable that the PTB are engineering it such that a strong aggressive authoritarian GOP stooge would then step in . . . or . . . shrudder . . . Shrillery.
I pray that somehow we could end up with Palin. God have mercy on us and make it so.
I just know that the PTB are determined to shred the culture and country and tighten the screws regardless of what they engineer to happen.
PTB is a good way to put it. I don’t know who “they” are but it is becoming more and more apparent “they” are out there and doing most of the steering.
