Well, every lesbian I know was sexually abused as young girls, usually by family members. And as an avid sports chick, I know quite a few lesbians. Ironically, quite a few of them say its their ‘choice’ to be with women.

You make it sound as if rape is no more traumatic than getting a cold. I did not even imply that all rape victims become lesbians, I was pointing out that McGillis had a difficult journey and that was her choice.
