Good to hear she’s doing better. I don’t think the Mexican cops in the interior/coastal tourist towns are probably that bad. If they were, you’d not have the hordes of tourists coming in. The border towns, however, are another story, though...

Good point about the Federales, but I still wouldn’t take the chance.
As far as the borders towns go, I’d feel safer at the Korean DMZ.
