As many of us said earlier on This Thread this is probably FUD and, according to Microsoft, it is.

Personally, I think it's an attempt to slow Windows 7 down, as it's doing exceedingly well. Especially considering that Windows 7 Breaks All Previous Sales Records

In fact, Microsoft, suffering in OS share at the hands of Apple's venerable Mac OSX, Surpasses All Mac OSes Combined with Windows 7.

Sadly, mostly hurt were Linux distributions, especially Ubuntu, my "dog in the race" choice of distros. But wait! Lucid Lynx (Ubuntu 10.04 LTS) is coming...soon!

Then we'll show MS market share! LOL

Haven’t seen this one myself, and our campus has 15,000 active users. Strikes me that the Prevx CEO has just gotten a ton of free publicity. Call me cynical.

Well, I was going to ask what ‘FUD’ means so I could understand your point but something tells me I may not want to know too much about that acronym. Please give me an idea though, what you meant. I am having odd system behavior today, no desktop icons on Win 7, and am wondering what to pursue. Thanks.

Lil...that black screen of death thingy that happened to your computer today...its all in your imagination...really..Microsoft says so.
