He said it was my turn, I immediately asked if the female could do it because she had done us before.

1. I never liked idea of a man cutting my hair let alone one who was obviously gay.

2. I did not want that man close enough to touch 1 hair on my 3 year old sons head.

I am sure he was a very nice man who was probably disease free and most likely was not a child molester, but I couldn't help but think I was a bad father if I allowed him to cut our hair. On the other hand, I felt guilty for possibly being a homophobe. I erred on the side of my son.

For the record, I have no problem with gay men, I just don't want my kids exposed or indoctrinated into their lifestyle. If it were a lesbian I probably wouldn't think twice about letting her cut my hair. Obviously, I have a double standard.

Any thoughts?

I’m a little confused by how you knew he is gay and what a “gay accent” is. The problem in trying to avoid contacts with gays is that you don’t really know.

Maybe we should come up with a system to identify them. Maybe force them to wear arm bands with pink triangles will do it.

Great Clips are inexpensive barber shops. You get what you pay for, with a homosexual thrown in for free.........

You'll probably get more attention to detail on your cut from a homosexual than a female barber..........

Lighten up....

I’m constantly changing hair styling shops because all the women stylists I’ve been to keep hitting on me.........”Don’t ask me out, just cut my darn hair!”

I’d say if you aren’t homophobic in this situation, you should be. Flaming homosexuals are MUCH more likely to have diseases than normal men or any women.

I don’t see anything wrong with not wanting a sodomite to cut your or your childs hair.

You are the customer. And given the sodomite prediliction for boys you are also a good father. You were neither immoral nor wrong.

No, I don't either. Fags, on the other hand, have all sorts of problems. I prefer not to associate with them.

You’re the consumer, so you get to choose who cuts your hair, period. However, posting it on the internet as a moral dilema screams drama, and I mean backstage at the ice capades drama if you catch my drift.

“Was I Immoral or Wrong?”

No.

I don’t see what’s wrong with having a guy cut your hair. And he could very well be playing gay, if you want to be a stylist rather than a barber (because stylists get to charge more for all the barbering stuff, plus do other more expensive things like perms and dyes) there is a general assumption that male stylists are gay. And most probably are, but even the ones that aren’t will tend to have the affectations on the clock, because a straight male stylist would just confuse people.

Your money, your choice. That should never make you feel guilty.

And again, Your children, Your choice. You are the final arbiter of who does and does not have contact with them.

And it is “goatee”, btw.
