Zoeller made a silly comment on TV. The media had a hissy fit. Woods had nothing to do with it.

Woods acted as offended as Jesse Jackson at a Palin book signing.

On both the first tee and coming off the 18th green, Zoeller and Woods shook hands with a smile, then Zoeller patted Woods on the shoulder. But during the round, they seldom spoke or walked down a fairway together.

When Woods's caddie, Mike (Fluff) Cowan, bummed a cigarette from Zoeller on the second tee, it was suggested to a Woods confidant that Zoeller and Cowan were bonding. But the confidant muttered, ''That'll be the only bonding.
