Anyone else notice how the majority of their games are played in South Bend? Why does the NCAA allow that? (7 home, 5 away) A look back at previous years finds it is regularly done.That is true of most of the big football programs. For example, Alabama for its regular season played 7 homes games, 4 away and 1 neutral site.Except for the conference schedules, college football set their own non-conference schedules. For Notre Dame they schedule all their own games since it is not affiliated with any conference. The NCAA has no power over scheduling.
