Oh my, Hillary’s grandchildren will be half Jewish? Isn’t that karma, considering some of her reported epithets.

I guess that Al Gore’s daughters and son never got married because his kids don’t get the press of Webb’s kid.

Good luck and happy trails to them. May their future together take them far away from public attention.

Marc Mezvinsky is the son of former Iowa Rep. Edward Mezvinsky and Marjorie Margolies. He is a childhood friend, fellow Stanford alum and Goldman Sachs employee.

The former first daughter and Marc Mezvinsky have been close since their teens, when their parents hobnobbed in D.C.

The Elder Mezvinsky pleaded guilty in 2002 to defrauding investors of more than $10 million. It is expected that he will be released from prison this year.

Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky served one term as a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania. She worked as a television journalist at WCAU-TV from 1967 to 1971, and then with NBC from 1971 to 1991.

Edward "Ed" Mezvinsky (born January 17, 1937) is a former congressman who was later sentenced to 80 months in prison for a series of white-collar crimes involving fraud. As a Democrat he represented Iowa's 1st congressional district in the United States House of Representatives for two terms, from 1973 to 1977.

Six months into his first term in Congress, Mezvinsky separated from his wife of ten years; they were divorced two weeks after his 1974 re-election. During his final term he married Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky, a television journalist. After his 1976 defeat, they relocated to suburban Philadelphia. Together, they raised eleven children, several of whom were adopted.

After serving in Congress, Mezvinsky worked at the United Nations Commission on Human Rights until 1979. Mezvinsky unsuccessfully sought the Democratic nomination for United States Senate from Pennsylvania in 1980, losing to Peter F. Flaherty. He then became chairman of the Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee before making a failed run for state attorney general in 1988. He won the Democratic primary, but lost to Republican Ernie Preate in the general election. He also unsuccessfully sought the Democratic nomination for lieutenant governor in 1990, losing to incumbent Mark Singel.

What do you want to bet that the Clintons don’t pick up the tab for the nuptuals.
I’m sure they’ll find some sycophant to offer their home for the wedding. Last we heard (this past summer) it was going to be Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson.
My bet is on Vernon Jordan. They all have homes on the Clinton’s favorite playground...Martha’s Vineyard.

You notice that these egalitarians never marry proles ?

Best of luck to them. Chelsea seems to have outgrown her awkwardness and looks pretty good.
