However, if she wasn’t in the house but chasing the car down what I assume is a long driveway and wielding a golf club for the purpose of assault, then she ends breaking into the back window. He won’t unlock the doors for her, of course. Her craziness and smashing the window cause him to crash into the tree.
More questions remain. Did OnStar call 911? Why didn’t Miss Ellie call 911? Forensics can determine whether she smashed the back window before or after impact. And that is one strong girl, able to pull him out of the car. At what point did he lose consciousness?
Tiger’s “statement” makes all these questions more valid to me. In addition, how can they prevent LE from doing an investigation, which would include questioning both of them? If Tiger doesn’t press charges, I hope someone else does.
