Understood.

But in this particular case, adultery carries no criminal sentence.

Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon is a serious felony. Certainly mitigating factors should be considered on her behalf, but she is dangerous. There is no doubt about that. I would not want this woman around my children at all.

Furthermore, whatever advantage she had in a divorce situation as far as children go has been forfeited to Woods at this point. How can she care for them while serving time? How can a judge award custody of them to a violent felon? Bad, bad move on her part IMO.

If the rumors are correct, that Tiger’s fling started in June, then he has been lying to her all this time, and now she finds out the truth and she is incensed. I do not think it is good that she picked up a golf club, but so far we have only heard that she wrecked PROPERTY with it. Tiger was scratched in the face — maybe she scratched him with her hand. I do not condone it but no doubt the betrayal to her was about as painful as anything he received.

I am aware that if there are charges, it looks bad for her, but I think that Tiger should NOT press charges, if all she did was fly into a rage and superficially scratch his face.

Unless she really hit him seriously with the club, she will not get jail time nor will she lose custody. What one might do to a cheating spouse has NO crossover to what one would do to one’s innocent baby.
