Life was hell under Bush. But hang in there: things'll get better under Obama.
Class dismissed: that's really all you need to know about the latest Time cover storyThe Decade From Hell And Why The Next One Will Be Better. But just to drive home the Manichean message, Time editor Rick Stengel and Andy Serwer [of Time stable-mate Fortune], who wrote the cover story, appeared on Morning Joe today.
Of course there's the inconvenient detail about Barack Obama having been elected in this decade. But not to worry. Serwer suggests we "see Barack Obama being elected as the beginning of the next decade."

The Obama propoganda is enough to make one sick.
This tiresome stuff makes me want crawl out of my skin! Journalists in mainstream media have about as much credibility as drug dealers. Wait, at least drug dealers are pro business. (Sorry, drug dealers).
LOL
They're both going to be DEFUNCT within the decade, and that is a cause for celebration.
And besides, when the propaganda is this obvious.... is it still really propaganda?? LOL
Did I miss something??? I remember record low unemployment, thriving business, growing income, lower taxes. I miss those days. The 1st Obama year has been hell and if he has it his way, it will be worse than hell. Welcome to commie country.
"Obama Decade"????
Two years from now, he might be impeached.
The leftwing propagandists need to get their story straight. Are things better or are things worse but it’s Bush’s fault? Both things cannot be true.
Gotta love how the powers that be keep on farting under the covers and telling us it smells like strawberries.
The real story on the MSM is that all of the cheerleading and lies aren’t working-the ‘bama’s approval rating dropped below 40% today. Despite the wild-eyed campaign of the MSM to sell this bumpkin, the truth is leaking out.
Bush Decade ‘Hell,’ Obama Decade Better
As for popular music released in this decade, than I agree.
The 90’s were better.
The 80’s blew chunks.
I liked the 70’s.
The 60’s were OVERRATED.
I hope the next decade is better, musically.
If the “Bush Decade” was bad, the “Soetoro Decade” shall hereafter be known as the “Lost Decade”.
Hang in there, Obama’s learning as he goes.
No wonder I stopped subscribing to Time 20+ years ago.
You’ll probably get more real news from Mad magazine.
Obama future:
It’s irrelevant what Time Magazine thinks about the next decade since their own irrelevance will put them out of existence long before the next decade is over. I give them 2-3 more years before the plug is pulled.
