Bedlam has been very ugly so far. And not just because my team is down by 10.
Just flipped over to the Appalachian State/South Carolina State FCS playoff game. Appy State takes a botched FG attempt back for a TD! The Mountaineers take the lead 19-13.
Well, there was a point where it seemed like neither team could hold onto the ball. But neither offense has impressed at all.
And now OU gets a facemask call after getting the first down. To top it off, Broyles runs backwards after he catches what should have been a first down. Luckily for them they did get the first down on 4th and short.
Maybe I’m in the minority, but I like games like this. Not sure why.

Is it possible to get Boise State vs TCU in a BCS bowl?
This would solve so many problems. It would save two bcs teams from embarrassing losses. Since most people would not want to see this match up, it would have a low rating which would give the bcs an excuse to not take an undefeated Boise State over a 2 loss team in future years. When TCU narrowly wins, Boise could be dropped out of the top 25 and TCU could fall out of the top 10 for having such a close game against a crappy team.
Tsk. Tsk. I am embarrassed for Ole Miss.

I don’t think that happens. I’m not entirely sure that the BCS would give $34 million combined to two non-AQ schools. That and the two teams played each other last year in the Poinsettia Bowl, so I don’t think it would be necessarily a good idea to rematch the two.
