That is actually a very beautiful dress. Too bad it had to be on that person.

Don’t they ever get tired of this kind of brown-nosing?
I mean... don’t they have any pride at all???
Rhetorical question, I know...

Very beautiful dress...

This is perfect, I hope it means a permanent turnaround in the wardrobe department.

Gorgeous gown and the shawl is perfect. She looks very good in that picture. Good for her.
To: Steelfish
I agree. She did look elegant in the outfit.

Tonight's look may mark a sartorial departure for Mrs. Obama, a shift into more sophisticated, luxurious, and regal attire, rather than the playful, accessible, less-polished clothing she's worn thus far. Back-handed compliment. But then they could have easily said "her usual get-ups".

The dress looks nice.
But what's up with the hair?

Still, I'd like to return to political issues. This particular dress underscores the dilemma she faces ~ she's clearly not one of the top candidates to develop breast cancer yet her husband's budget proposals suggest continued funding for the committee that recently advised folks to quit having mammary exams.
Even if Michelle doesn't need the tests, that doesn't mean other women should do without.
Otherwise, this dress is definitely head and shoulders over the black widow spider monstrosity she was wearing last year.

Very beautiful dress. It’s about time that she got a clue.
