Yes, an excellent article. Fr. Neuhaus represented SENSIBLE ecumenicism. Namely, respect other religions, try to work with them, but don’t give up your beliefs in a vain effort to find a least common denominator.
As he says, Christians can certainly work with Mormons, and there is a lot about which we can agree. But there are also basic, fundamental matters of faith about which we disagree, and it’s as well to recognize that.
