If I recall correctly, the guidelines for the last few years require very rapid chest compressions and fewer rescue breaths.

New American Red Cross CPR guidelines call for 100 chest compressions per minute.

Today's guidelines call for 100 per minute with no breathing for them. The doc I know who specializes in this says to think of the old disco song “Stayin’ Alive!”
