Uhhh, the game was tied in the fourth quarter, OU hardly "layed down."
Before we get to the business at hand tomorrow, we have a WAC matchup tonight in the Cache Valley. It’s Boise State traveling to Logan to take on the Utah State Aggies, tonight at 9:30 E/8:30 C, live on the FR Sports Network!
(Hey, I think I just came up with a clever writing device!)
Given the way OU beat most of their opponents that season, they showed up flat to the national championship game. They weren’t very well prepared to play that night.
I was more inclined to give the credit to the UF defense in that game. Going in, I wasn’t entirely sure that anyone could really truly shut down OU on offense, aside from trying to outdo them in a shootout.
Boise State is driving, although USU has only rushed three on at least two occasions in this drive. Not sure I like that move on the part of the Aggies.
TD Boise State! Points off turnovers may be the story here.
Boise State 7
Utah State 0

TD Utah State! And for the record, I would like to post what my brother thought of the Aggies previous drive, but I think it would result in an instant Zotting.
Boise State 7
Utah State 7

This is the first nationally televised home game for Utah State? Is that what he just said?
Yeah, that’s correct. USU has kind of been a football backwater out here. When the original WAC was formed, USU got left out and Utah and byU were charter members, even though at that time, Utah St had probably the best football program in the state. USU didn’t really recover from that, even though they’ve had some good seasons here and there.
I’m here, just in time to see Boise score again, 42-14. I guess yer brother has bragging rights for the night, Raider.....
PBR’s for $1/16oz. can? Sounds about right. We sell them for $4.99/6 pack. But by far the most popular package is the 12 pack cans for $7.49. Hell we even have 30 packs for $15.99.......compare that to a 6 pack of Great Lakes Christmas Ale, which goes for $10.99, and you get the picture.....
11:58PM EST AND MICHIGAN STILL SUCKS!!!
Do they still sell Goebel’s beer in Ohio? I would sometimes buy that when I lived in Ohio.
Goebel, that fine French beer is still distributed in these parts.
We don’t carry it anymore. Remember P.O.C.? Remember what it stands for?
See, I’d give Great Lakes Christmas Ale a shot. It would be a great “What I’m Drinking” feature.
We are underway at just past High Noon in the East. Games getting started in the Top 25
Minnesota/Iowa
Duke/Miami
Ohio State/Michigan
Coming up
UT-Chattanooga/Alabama
Florida International/Florida
TCU/Wyoming
The Hawkeyes have capped off an 11 play drive with a FG.

After that disaster of a turnover by Tate Forcier, the Buckeyes get a defensive TD to open up the scoring.
Ohio State 7
Michigan 0
10:44 in the 1st
The Blue Devils get one from way downtown to take the lead

Michigan gets a really good drive, only to miss a 24 yard FG. Buckeye ball at the UM 10
As a sidenote: if OSU went to the throwback unis, why didn’t Michigan? Thought that was strange.
Go Dookies!
