I think this just reflects who chooses to live in a coed dorm, not a causative relationship.
either way, this is terrible for women..( and ultimately horrible for men)..
women NEVER do well by lowering their standards and having sex with multiple partners....
it can affect their health, their wealth, their education, their socialization....
but most of all, it affects their self esteem...
no dating...just shacking up...
now someone tell me again how horrible our society treats boys and men....they have got everything they always wanted...a ready supply of weak willed women who to be in the "in" crowd have sex with anybody who asks....
and these very same young men taking advantage of this will probably be the same ones who piss and moan about their future wives, the same group of women who they slept with, drank with, smoked with, drugged up with...
they'll pine about how they wanted a "nice" girl and a "good" girl....
if boys and men want the "nice" girls and the "good" girls they better start behaving like "nice" boys and "good" boys themselves...
To a point, I think they’re right. But on the other hand, I lived in a co-ed dorm for three years in college...and y’know, when that allegedly-hot chick from the second floor comes down to the laundry room at 11 pm with her hair up in curlers, no makeup on, and wearing an old-lady bathrobe and fuzzy bunny slippers? It kills the lust a bit.
(Yes, this really happened. Many times.)
