iPod and iPhone - Sir Alan did not figure that there was a whole group of people that would buy a new one everytime Steve Jobs and Apple introduced a new model even if they did it one a week. He just did not understand the need to look like you are somebody and smart by showing your new product off. It is just like the designer jeans craze.

I'm thankful that there are people willing to shell out thousands of dollars for a new product every time one comes out. That makes it possible for people like me who wait a couple of years to gradually get up to date for a hundred dollars or so.
Right now I think up to 2002 technology wise.
