A trick I learned in Ireland is to keep the lemon wedge and stick cloves in it, squeeze the lemon into a cup. Add whiskey, honey and about the same amount of hot boiling water as the whiskey to the potion. Awesome drink for the flu. The hot water as it, along with the alcohol and lemon juice will kill the virus. Works for the common cold and the ladies as cloves are antibacterial, antiviral, anti fungal and an aphrodisiac. Combining the four good A's. I'm not sure what this drink is called I think "Hot whiskey". But for the whiskey I've used is Jameson.

Forgot to mention to drop the whole lemon wedge into the cup, prior to adding the liquids.
