I got the flu one time. Never so sick in my life. I was horribly ill for over a week. Didn't feel “normal” for nearly a month later. Swore I would never get the flu again if I could help it and have been getting the seasonal flu shot since. That was almost 30 years ago. A few years ago I missed getting a flu shot and got the flu. I got Tamiflu right away from my doctor. I was feeling fine after about 2 days. No side effects for me. Tamiflu WORKS.

I have had the flu more times that I can count from the late 60’s through the 80’s. Every year while my kids were in school. I had it the worst in 1957, when I was a teenager. I may be immuned to everything that is out there but it doesn’t stop me from getting the flu shot every year. I hope I never have that nasty stuff again.
