OMG, to think I/we lived through the era where that type of decor was considered attractive. Urggggghh!!
Yet in some ways, it was much simpler, somewhat more innocent, and I often wonder if all the technological conveniences we’ve become accustomed to since then have *really* improved life. They have certainly reduced drudgery but perhaps not anxiety.
My most prized possession is a swizzle stick from the Gobbler. I wouldn’t part with it for anything.
