Okay, Taylor Swift made me LOL just now during her acceptance speech. She concluded her remarks by thanking everone in the audience for not running up on the stage during her speech.

Sad. When LeeAnn was discovered she was managed by her father. Guess he's probably out of the picture by now. I don't follow celebs but happen to have had a professional secondary connection to Rimes at one time. LeeAnn sued to have her dad removed as her "manager" when she was something like 16. He totally removed his hands from her career.
She then went WAAAAAAYYY off the deep end. Totally changed her music and her image.
I loved her early stuff (first 3 or so discs). Bought her Twisted Angel CD, and that is the last I will buy.
I still love her early stuff. Blue and Crazy still drive me crazy. Though her voice is different, she nailed Patsy Cline.

Announcing the winner for something like “best male singer,” she blathered about how good-looking are the men of country music.
Seemed in bad judgment and worse taste, to me, given that she’s been frolicking in Hollywood with a very handsome, very married-with-children TV actor while her own husband sits at home, alone in Nashville.
