Okay, this is interesting. I think #1 and #4 are compelling. But I should make it clear that I don't require politicians to have perfect personal lives, or even good personal lives, to earn my support. They earn my support through their policies and record.
With that said, what can irk me about the cult of Sarah is people who obviously do care greatly about the personal lives of their politicians holding Sarah up on a pedestal, and cultivating a sort of selective blindness. It's strange to see people getting all worked up about Bristol's boyfriend's ridiculous five minutes of fame, and trashing him with a lot of emotion, when, by the way, Sarah seems to have blown it herself in the parenting department and no one should care about that, either. It's dangerous to mix celebrity worship with politics.
As for #5, I'll put in a tentative "no" to see where you're going with it.
