The vaccine has been tested, and is made in the same way as the seasonal. It would have been included in the seasonal had it appeared just a few months sooner last year. The
CDC is advising pregnant women get the shot, as the actual H1N1 infection could be harmful to a pregnancy and the shot is as safe as the seasonal.
The alternative medicine sites have decided to abandon science and pursue hysterical anti-vaccine hyperbole instead. I've spent a lot of time debunking them already. I hope those who are truly at risk ignore the woo woos, do their own research, and get the shot.
