I know you meant this as sarcasm, but I recently read a high school student’s essay that said exactly that. He spouted some current scientific drivel that blamed our mishandling of planet earth for bad things going on with other planets! Wow, didn’t know we had such incredible power to affect the universe!
I’ll point out that it was President Barack who BOMBED THE MOON. If anyone is going to change the status of another celestial body, it’s him.
