One can blame Germaine Greer for promiscuous tackiness, but she didn’t pass the welfare laws that make the whole scene financially tenable. Guys in suits did that.
I love the British press and their head lines!
Wow, I’m amazed that such an accurate portrayal of Greer and her ilk, and the consequences they wraught, is published in a legitimate newspaper. First the British press unflinchingly declares the true nature of Hasan’s crimes, and now this! Compared to the UK journalists, ours are a pathetic laughingstock.
It just seems strange that in Britain, so much further down the road to socialist hell, has a free press much bolder than ours. Has it always been this way, or have the consequences of their failed experiments become so obvious that even the reporters won’t ignore the situation anymore?
I haven’t heard anything about her in a very long time. Just earlier today there was a posting about how Jane Fonda enjoys her sex life at 71. Before the days over I expect a thread about Erica Jong. Talk about a ride of ancient valkyries.
England always had its low classes and louts, but it was the upper class and the CoE that was the model for, and guided culture, law, values, etc...
Now the “upper class” in England has disappeared, apparantly by self-destruction.
