Stop thinking about fighting and confrontation before you've calmly and reasonably spoken to the teacher.

There may be no need to make a big issue out of this. Just TALK to the woman and explain why it's important to you.

That way, you can say you tried the most obvious solution, and if necessary you can show she was unreasonable even after a one-on-one personal appeal.

Any ONE person that would do this to an entire community is already beyond reason. Some people are jst not rational when it comes to things like this.
Is this person Jewish, atheist, muslim?
If I knew that, I could maybe offer something more.

That's not the way the game works. The teacher's identity will be withheld to protect them from "death threats" and violence. If the teacher's identity does become known, the press will instantly publish articles describing the "death threats" that the teacher recieved.

It's the left's way of stopping debate in a circumstance like this. The issue moves from an unreasonable position by the teacher and the school, which trounces on the rights, beliefs and enjoyment of the majority, to a cessation of all dialogue, where the teacher is now morphed into a victim.
