FWIW, in all the time I spent as a Brat, I don’t recall seeing anyone except on-duty MPs armed on base. (Unless you count the cannon and missiles on the F-8’s)...
Go reread what I have metioned, on base it was the MPs I was referring to, they were constantly at the clinics.
