It would be interesting if they found some H. erectus bones around in the Americas, That species of Humans sure made it around, pretty much the entire old world, it wouldn’t surprise me if some made it to America.
It is unfortunate that technology hasn’t reached the point of allowing us to excavate the continental shelf more easily. I can’t begin to imagine the sites that were probably buried by the melting of the ice at the end of the last climate minimum.
If what we’ve discovered to date is indicative of anything, it is that humans inevitably organize into communities that begin to collectively advance through sharing of innovations and the specialization and division of labor.
