It all depends on what you mean by “persecution.” I, personally, take pains to reinforce the “yuck” factor in my kids and grandkids. Normal people are repulsed by what homosexuals do. That should never change. But the homosexuals understand what Alexander Pope said about vice: “First we pity, then endure, then embrace.” Hence, they are constantly trying to desensitize kids to the disgusting nature of what they do, and trying to equate what they do with heterosexual relations.
If by “persecute,” you mean not physically attacking them, I agree. If not “persecuting” means that you have to say, “Love is wonderful, no matter whom you love,” I disagree. Not every mutual application of friction to genitals constitutes “love.” Frankly, I like it when anti-sodomy laws kept them in the closet. It is a crime that those have been struck down as unconstitutional.

I totally agree. By “persecution” I mean we don’t invade their homes and arrest them. I have every right to say a homo is to me like a wierdo that plukes sheep.
