I missed the re-run, but I had a coworker tell me the exact same thing. The last time I saw it was when it first aired in the 80s, so I don't remember all of the details that well. Interesting...
I gotta say that all of the "hopenchange" from the first teasers for the new "V" shocked the hell out of me. I could never imagine something so blatantly paralleling Obama with a fascist regime getting air time on a major network. I hope that ABC proves me wrong.

Me too. The production values were poor. The human collaborators were good. Obamabots!
The choice of a woman (Sarah Palin) as rebel leader was good. I liked the scene where she was transformed in her leotard. Kinky.
Jester was good. Who knew he did anything before Top Gun.
